This recipe makes a delicious, simple, and healthy lunch or dinner

For the Burgers

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
  • 3 T green onion
  • 1 tsp montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 egg

Mix all ingredients and form into small patties. Saute in olive oil or avocado oil in Medium High in a non-stick pan for approximately 8 minutes per side. Wait until you get a nice golden brown color and it flips easily.

For the Slaw

  • 3 T Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar (or any kind with “the mother”)
  • 2 T white wine vinegar
  • 3 T olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp stevia
  • 1 bag broccoli slaw

Mix all the liquid ingredients together well and toss in the bag of slaw. Serve on whole wheat toast, or bread of choice with half an avocado, a healthy dollop of slaw, and a turkey slider. Serve more slaw on the side for a complete meal.
